● Raw material preparation
— Single piece forging, to solve the problems of looseness inside the raw materials and improvement of carbides and uneven distribution
—Spheroidizing annealing to obtain the structure of spherical or granular carbides uniformly distributed on the ferrite matrix
● Heat treatment is one of the most critical processes in the entire roll manufacturing process. It plays a vital role in improving the overall performance of the rolls. According to the different areas of the rolls and the different roles, our company uses different heat treatment methods to play its best effect.


■ Primary hardening method: General rolls in delivery
— Professional furnace loading fixture and correct furnace loading method to prevent deformation of workpiece heating process
— Reasonable heating method and temperature control
-Heating in a controlled protective gas to prevent oxidation and decarburization
-Segmented pre-heating to reduce internal stress and prevent cracking
-Pre-heating at 860 ℃, heating at 1020 ℃.
-Heating time according to the effective thickness of the workpiece, one minute per millimeter
-Strictly control heating temperature to prevent overheating or insufficient heating
-Thyristor controlled heating, square charts monitor process execution
-Oil-cooled quenching and infrared thermometer control to ensure oil temperature and meet process requirements
-Tempering at 180 ℃ ~ 200 ℃ for three times in a tempering furnace to eliminate stress, complete internal structure transformation, and meet the hardness requirements of drawings
-For special positions, after confirming by both parties, the hardness can be adjusted appropriately to prevent chipping

● Machining is strictly in accordance with the requirements of the drawings to ensure the dimensional accuracy and surface roughness of the rolls
— Mandrel clamping is used for finishing to ensure the type tolerance of the workpiece
— Precision lathe surface of CNC lathe to ensure hole roughness
— Wire cutting machined keyways to ensure keyway machining accuracy
