1. The standardize and material of abrasive
The diameter of abrasive is 150mm, aperture is 25mm, and the thickness is depending on the type of gear and pitch.
Granule between 60 and 100, hardness is between K and N, use the porcelain sintering abrasive. The resinous and rubber abrasive is just suitable for those which has precision and small pitch of teeth.
2. Usage of clamp cover and protection plate for medium
There are a set of big size and small size abrasive clamp cover, and also a protection plate. When the outside diameter becomes smaller, the small size can take the place of the big one.
The medium protection plate is made of solid and springiness black rubber, which includes fabric yarn. The function of protection plate is to connect abrasive and clamp cover to avoid the broken of abrasive.
If the protection plate is not use, please put it in the shade. It can’t use after 3 years’ using.
Keep clean for clamp cover and core of axis.
3. The test and install of abrasive
You should test before install.
Use a round steel rod knock the abrasive, in normal circumstances, there will be a clear voice.
There can’t be any paper flange in the abrasive, use brass wire brush and water to wash it.
To avoid the deflection, pay attention to the gap between pore size of abrasive and clamp cover, which can’t be too huge.
