The mill is intended for manufacturing pipe of 40X40mm-130X130mm with thickness of 2.0mm–6.0mm from cold-rolled and hot-rolled coil strip by means of unclosed tubular blank with its subsequent welding into tube, edge heating by means of solid state high-frequency welder, longitudinal seam welding in rolls of tube welding machine, cooling, further sizing or shaping and on-stream cutting of endless tube in measured lengths.Finished product will be of square and rectangle pipe.

Square to square forming way Advantage:

Forming square pipe directly is using the sheet material strip bending forming directly then welding and sizing. The advantage is as follows:

1) Compared with the round-square method, the section form shape is better using this method, the relative inner radius is smaller, and the edge is straight, the appearance is clear and neat.

2) The unit is low load, especially obvious in the sizing unit.

3) The width of the steel strip is smaller 2.4-3% than the round-square method, can save the raw material.

4) Using the new technology of multi-point bending, To eliminate the axial force and lateral wear in the forming, not only reduce the forming passed to ensure the product accuracy, but also reduce the power lose and roll wear.

5) Using combined roller, one set of roller can be used to product dozens of types square and rectangle pipe. It can greatly reduce the roll spare parts, and reduce 70% roll cost, accelerate cash flow, shorten the product development cycle.
