1. Weld seam internal scraper

Straight seam welded pipes are welded by high-frequency induction welding machines. After welding, there will be weld scars on the inside and outside of the steel pipe. These weld scars will affect the subsequent operation of the steel pipe and need to be removed according to relevant operation requirements. The function of the weld seam internal scraper is to remove the welding slag and weld scars on the inner wall of the ERW steel pipe to make the inner wall smooth. 

Why should the weld scars on the inner wall of the steel pipe be removed? If the steel pipe produced is used to transport water and natural gas, if the weld scars on the inner wall are not removed, there will be impurities inside, which will not meet the relevant product standards. Subsequent steps cannot be carried out. The weld seam internal scraper is used to remove the weld scars on the inner wall of the steel pipe. It is circular, made of alloy, and the surface is titanium-plated or plated with other materials. There are all sizes. 2. Weld seam external scraper

The welding slag and weld scar on the outside of the straight seam welded pipe must be cleaned, because the surface is oxidized after welding. If the steel pipe is exposed to the external environment for a long time, it is easy to corrode and rust, affecting the service life. After removing the weld scar, we can add a zinc layer or aluminum layer (this equipment is called a zinc spraying machine) at the weld position. The zinc layer isolates the weld position from the air, which is more conducive to storage and outdoor use, and prevents rust.
